Entrepreneurs are getting ready for the Startup Weekend 2.0 event to be held October 14-16, 2011 at Drexel University, Mack School of Law, 3320 Market St., Philadelphia.

Startup Weekend helps encourage entrepreneurship in the Philadelphia area by bringing together teams with differing skill-sets and focusing them on developing plans aimed at launching credible businesses, all in an intense 54 hour period. SemperCon’s Rick O’Brien will serve as a mentor and judge at the event, working to help the teams refine their business ideas and then begin to create the web and mobile applications at the heart of these new startup businesses.
