SemperCon is pleased to be partnering with the Penn Center of Innovation and the Penn UpStart group in support of entrepreneurs and new ventures. SemperCon is now actively working with Penn UpStart company, Resuscor LLC, (www.resuscor.com) which is developing innovative mobile applications to improve implementation of Targeted Temperature Management aimed at saving lives and improving patient outcomes in the emergency and critical care settings.
The Penn Center for Innovation (PCI) helps to translate Penn discoveries and ideas into new products and businesses for the benefit of society. It does this by facilitating technology development connections between Penn and the private sector. Whether the end result is a technology license, an R&D alliance, the formation of a new venture or an integrated combination of any or all of these activities, PCI serves as a dedicated one-stop shop for commercial partnering with Penn.
PCI prides itself on promoting entrepreneurial activities and new company formation around Penn’s leading research and innovations. PCI actively seeks entrepreneurs to lead our companies and investors to provide funding for our portfolio of new ventures in development. We provide a suite of products and services to incubate the development of early-stage technology-based businesses as they make their way towards commercial success.
UPstart, a virtual incubator at the University of Pennsylvania, is dedicated to supporting technology commercialization within the Penn community. Since 2010, UPstart has worked with over 100 faculty and staff members to form and launch new companies based on selected inventions and innovative technologies.
